MEMBERSHIP

To be able to shoot as part of Tauranga Archers, membership in the club is required from all participants. 

Please note our membership rules have changed as of 3 July 25.

To become a full member of the club you must, 

1. Complete a 'Have a go' Day. * +
2. Join the Club using the form below.
   
3. Pass the Beginners Course. *

After joining the club, you are able to attend all club activities as a provisional member. You will become a full member after completion of the Beginners Course.

As a provisional member you are able to use the wooden take down bows used on the Have a Go day, shooting at 15m initially and moving upto 18m as your compentancy in archery improves. We recommend you do not purchase your own equipment until after completion of the beginners course or use any sights. 

Our club membership runs from 1 April each year up until 31 March the following year. From October 1st each year, membership is reduced.

Membership renewal will be sent out via email prior to 1 April each year.

​​​​​​​* Individuals who have been part of another Archery club within the last 12 months can bypass the 'Have a Go' and 'Beginners Course' with proof of membership provided.

+ Individuals who left membership of any archery club over 12 months ago are required to attend a 'Have a Go Day' to be assessed. This is a Health and Safety Requirement. If deemed compentant the beginners course will not be required.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

We have 4 Membership options available for members to choose from. 

** Affiliated membership is only available for those that are current full members of another archery club within New Zealand, where that club is affiliated with Archery New Zealand.

Discounts are automatically applied to all Juniors when 2 or more Junior Members are added to the same registration (From the same hosehold)​​​​​​​
