A Dedicated Session for Home-Schoolers

Our Home School group meets fortnightly on Thursdays during school terms, generally restricted to archers in the home school or Te Kura system. The minimum age is 8, and parents/guardians are very welcome to take part alongside their kids.

How It Works

A relaxed, small-group setting for home-schooled archers.

  • Open to those in the home school or Te Kura system, minimum age 8; parents and guardians are welcome to join in and shoot too.

  • Members shoot at Homeschool events only, until signed off by a coach to join standard club events.

Progressing to Club Days

Ready for more? Here’s how you get there.

  • Progression to standard club days works the same way as our U11 pathway — once a coach signs off that you can shoot safely and confidently, you’re welcome at all club events.

  • Just $5 per session for gear hire, after your initial Have a Go session and joining the club.

These sessions are held at our outdoor range at Graham Park, Tauranga. Access is by footpath from Edgecumbe Rd, or off the slip road to 11th Ave from Takitimu Drive, where there’s parking by the substation.
