Archery New Zealand School Shoot Programme

A dedicated round for school-aged archers taking part in the Archery New Zealand Intermediate and Secondary School Shoot Programme, part of the wider ANZ Youth Programme that lets young archers across the country compete every month. It can be shot during a normal school training session, at the club, or on a regular club day if no archery facility is available at school.

Who Can Take Part

Open to current members in the right year group.

  • Club members in school years 7–13 can take part.

  • The round can be shot as many times as you like before the term’s cut-off date.

Format & Scoring

A little preparation goes a long way out on the range.

  • A standard round, with your best score counting.

  • Your highest score is submitted to Archery NZ by the school archery coordinator or the club.
