The last Maintenance workshop was a huge hit, and we are excited to bring you the next one, based on the Compound Bow.

Riku van Tonder is a top-ranked New Zealand compound archer and member of the River Glade Archers, recently securing gold at the Compound Classic and National Outdoor Target Championships. He is a prominent competitor for New Zealand, with selections for the 2025 World Games and World Archery Cups.

We have the privilege of having Riku come over and coach us on the Compound Bow at Tauranga Archery Club on Saturday 28 Feb starting at 9am.

The day will consist of shooting scoring ends where we will be assessed for form and technique. Then moving onto draw lengths and stabilising of the bows. Some minor tuning may happen where needed if time allows. We can expect to finish at about 2pm.

If you are keen to be a part of this workshop, you need to register and complete a payment of $30 per person. Your own compound bow (<60lbs) is required.
