Welcome to Tauranga Archers
We’re a friendly, non-profit archery club welcoming members from age 11 through to well into retirement. Parents, kids, couples, and complete beginners all shoot together on our range most Sundays — whether you’re chasing a national ranking or just want a fun new hobby.
We’re affiliated with Archery New Zealand, the Eastern Central Bay of Plenty Archery Association, and World Archery, and we run our club shoots and tournaments under their rules.
Ways to Get Involved
Whichever path suits you, our coaches and members are there to help you improve. Not sure where to start? Have a Go Days are the best first step for ages 11+. Head to our Kids U11 page if you’re bringing along a younger archer.
A Genuinely Welcoming Club
From 11-year-olds to grandparents, families and couples shoot side by side every Sunday. Nobody shoots alone unless they want to.
Coached From Your First Arrow
Have a Go Days and our Beginners Course are fully coached, with all equipment supplied — no gear, no experience, no problem.
A Real Pathway to Competition
Divisions for every age group, club tournaments, ECBOPAA and Archery NZ events for members who want to take it further.
