Welcome to the April Newsletter

It has been a busy few months and I find it a little hard to believe we are into April already and we are into a new membership year.

For those have have renewed their membership, thank you. You should have received your Membership card via email. But if you haven’t, it is likely because you have not yet paid, or we have not been able to match your payment to your account. So send me back an email with payment details so we can match things up and ill get your card to you.

For those that have not yet renewed their membership, and are not planning on renewing, this will be our last message to you. We hope that you have enjoyed your time with us, and maybe we will see you again in the future.

For those that just haven’t gotten around to renewing as yet, well you have a little more space with the range closed this Sunday due to the cyclone. But make sure you renew your membership prior to attending any more club activities. Thanks.

{{First Name}}The Club AGM on Sunday 2 May

The AGM will be held after the Club Champs (Please register via the article below). The minutes from the 2025 meeting are attached.

At this meeting we need to nominate and confirm various club roles and positions. There are committee positions available, as well as other vital roles that help to keep the club functioning. Please take a look at the attached Role Descriptions and send nominations for any position through to secretary@taurangaarchers.com prior to 30 April 2026 so that we can have these ready to present at the AGM.

Coaches Course

If you enjoy Archery, and want to take things a step further, now is a great time to register to become a coach. We need more coaches to spread the load amongst us all.

We will be holding a coaches course Mid Year for all those interested in taking the next step. The date is still to be confirmed. To see what makes a great coach, visit this ANZ page. but don’t register there. We will be running an internal course.

We will likely be running these two levels..

  • Foundation Coach
  • Development Coach

Registering your interest does not commit you to being a coach. It merely means you are after more information. Thank you to those that have already registered their interest.
