Range Safety & Separation UpdateThe Committee is nearing completion of the updated Range Safety & Operating Rules. The new rules are designed to maximise use of the range while maintaining a clear and consistent safety framework for all members. They will provide greater flexibility for a variety of activities, including club shooting, coaching, courses and events. We are currently completing the final checks and documentation before implementation. Once released, the new operating rules and range layouts will be circulated to members. Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, experience and feedback throughout this process, and thank you to all members for their patience while this work has been completed. The Committee will continue to monitor the arrangements and make adjustments if required to ensure they remain practical and effective for the widest possible range of activities.

Coaching Courses – Final Call for Registrations18–19 July 2026 This free course is suitable for members interested in developing their coaching skills and supporting Club activities.
If you have been considering starting your coaching journey or progressing to the next level, there is still time to register. I have now contacted everyone currently registered with further course information, however it is not too late to join. Registrations close this Friday 10 July. Members Equipment & Maintenance WorkshopSaturday 1 August 2026 The Committee is pleased to be offering a practical workshop focused on helping members better understand and maintain their equipment. Topics will include:
The workshop is suitable for all members, from beginners through to experienced archers. If you have your own gear, bring it along. If you don’t have your own gear, thats ok. You will still learn stuff that will help your archery journey. Registration is now open. Please make sure you register.

ECBOPAA Indoor Championships Results 2026A huge turnout for this years Indoor Championship by Tauranga Archers. Well done to everyone who participated. Remember that this is the first part of the ECBOPAA Championships for 2026/2027. Next event will likely be the Clout in Whakatane followed by field events in Napier and then Hamilton. The target event will be the final event. Keep an eye out for notification for these events. Results were as follows:
